Mamata Banerjee reviews Gangasagar preparations, Inaugurates Rs 61.50 crore worth projects

With only 10 days left for Makar Sankranti, sadhus and ascetics have commenced their arrival at the Gangasagar Mela service camps. The event, set to culminate in the grand celebration of the festival, has prompted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to personally assess the preparations at the Sagar coast.

In addition to overseeing the arrangements for a smooth Gangasagar fair, the Chief Minister inaugurated projects totaling Rs 61.50 crore, ensuring that the infrastructural developments contribute to a successful and secure event.
